Passion necessary?
My eyesight still did not improve. I went back to the clinic and the clinic assistant put some eye drops to constrict the eyes back. Will take a few hours to work. Still waiting. Blurry vision for now. Wanna share with you all something someone said today about doing something one likes. I always think that to be happy, one must find the ideal job that he/she likes. Then he/she will devote the time and effort on it. A job will not be a chore in this case. However, this friend said that in life it is not very possible to find this job. You will have to try so many jobs before you find one that you have the passion for. He then cited an analogy about love. We all think that there is this perfect other half waiting for us. But in reality, is it possible to find him/her? Are you goin to spend your entire life searching? It’s just not possible. So at the end of the day, you will settle with someone who likes you and you do like him/her a bit. For a job, it’s just the same. Find one you can bear with and you wont mind spending your life working.
