Bangkok trip day 2 part three

We walked and we walked.
We had been walking a great deal.
Finally we reached Baiyoke Sky Tower, tallest building in Bangkok.
Asked the lady how much dinner would cost.
Dinner comes with a trip to the top of the sky tower. Great view of Bangkok. But dinner is expensive. 40 sin dollars. The kiddies not reach enough.
So we walked and we walked again, in search of dinner.
We lost our directions a bit and crosssed the overhead bridge to pratunam centre.
Menu asked a kind shop owner for directions to world trade centre.
We had to retrace our steps to the opposite side of the overhead bridge.
We were so tired.....
Never mind. We eventually made it to world trade centre.
Saw a money changer and changed all my USD. (left over from my year one europe trip. should have changed and kept euros the last time. then i would have made a profit from changing back to sin dollars)
And we ate at fuji restaurant.
Yeah cant believe its japanese food again. This is not japan. Please don't be mistaken.
The jap food is cheap and good. slurp. yummy yummy.
After dinner, was the least enjoyable part of our trip.
I am a water bucket. i need water. Lotsa lotsa water.
We decided to take cab back to the hotel.
So we proceeded to isetan for me to buy three bottles of 1.5 L mineral water.
Din realise it was raining.
We tried to find a taxi stand, luggin around the three bottles. Thanks to Jam and Menu. They helped me carry.
No taxi stand in sight. Though there was a sign pointing to taxi stand.
Took out umbrellas and walked to the road.
Attempted to hail a taxi.
No taxi wanna take us.
We heard from a chinese family who said that the cab said the area they were going was flooded and required more $$.
A can driver wanted to charge us 200 baht. Warrao.
So we decided to take the BTS (equivalent of our mrt).
We walked and we walked to the train station.
Up the stairs.....with the 1.5 L bottles and the barang barang we bought. Extremely heavy.
We were panting.
Thanks Jam and Menu once again.
