KL trip part three

30 April. Since i din go clubbin the night before, I wanted to wake up early and not waste the last day in KL. At 9 plus., i was all ready to go to Chinatown. While waiting for the rest, I took some fotos of the house.

The Garden The other side of the house The koi pond with all the fat koi. The dining area.
Those of us who did not go clubbing plus a guy (who managed to sober up in time cos he drank lotsa water to clear his system of the alcohol) left for breakfast in Chinatown. We decided to take the train. After taking a look at the map, the most direct route was through the stadium. So, we walked into the stadium and were greeted with much festivity. There was a children's sports meet goin on.

We paraded in front of the spectators while walking on the track. Then a policeman stopped us. He said we could not cut through the stadium. We apologised and walked up to the spectators' area. But we were persistent in finding a short cut. After some aimless walkin, we still could not find an exit. We were trapped in the stadium! Eventually,we managed to get out of the stadium.

Chinatown has a pasar malam selling mainly fake goods and road side food. Along the way, we bought food and nibbled. I tried the sweet potato balls which were not so sweet and cripsy on the outside. I also pinched a bit of the sesame muah chee my fren bought. Very yummy. Flavoured muah chee unlike the plain ones in Singapore. Soon, we reached our destination-a chinese tze char place. Food was reasonably priced and delicious.

With our tummies satisfied, we shopped around the area. It was disappointing cos most of the goods were counterfeit stuff. Before long, we proceeded to the art centre. This place sells mainly handicrafts. I bought a pair of small wooden cats after bargaining with the shopowner. Auntie bargain power! Yay. The walking around made us tired and we rested our feet at a foodcourt. Thought the washing hands area looked pretty interesting. The basin is a wok! Din even realise that it was a washing area till i saw some pple washing their hands.

Once we had enough rest, we took a bus over to sungei wang. Cheap shopping. Like far east plaza. I bought shoes and watch. Had to borrow money from my fren cos almost broke liao. Though i wanted to shop more, I could not. Had to catch our train at 10 pm. We had dinner at another jap place (tepanyaki). Quite a number of pple inside. But the food was not good. My conclusion was that japanese food in KL was not suited to our palate.

For the return trip, we took the overnight train. Quite cosy and i managed to sleep. It only cost played bluff. And i won by telling the truth most of the time! It pays to be honest. Hehe. On the whole, it was a fun trip and i got to know the rest better. Wanna go travel again. Who wanna join me?
