9 March 07 part two back in the hotel
After our walk around the neighbourhood (we had to figure out how to get to our labs on Monday), we went back to the hotel. Prior to that, we had visited Tesco (bought a strawberry jam doughnut). We had tried to open the door close to 7am. But the door would not budge. The people inside the shop looked at us strangely. They only open at 7am. So we walked further down. Tried to get a sim card at this mama shop. But the owner said that his top up vouchers were not available. Thus, we din buy from him. Bought vodafone sim card from ryman. The helpful salesman advised us to buy one sim card to test if it was compatible with both of our phones. Then we wont waste money buying two cards at one go. Nice of him to help us. But we helped him too. By buyin a 5 pound top up voucher he keyed into the cash register wrongly yesterday.Back at the hotel, we had our blackberries. Good to eat fruits.

Some shots of the hotel room we stayed in. We could check in earlier cos the previous occupants had vacated the room. yay. So we din have to sit around and wait in the guy's office. A bit paiseh to disturb him while he worked.The kitchen. It has everything. Pots, microwave, toaster, dishes, cups, cutlery. Good good. We can use them immediately. Dun have to spend more money.
